I really love Pastels, I can do a project quickly and feel like I accomplished something in about 30 minutes. Maybe I should slow down, but if I had my choice it is either instant art or no art. So instant art it is. I do actually think I am getting better...dare I say it. I actually like the bunnies enough to hang them in my home. I love rabbits,,,I have a lot in my home, on dishes, in other paintings. I don't ever think my pastel art will ever be mistaken for a photo. But I do hope it is enjoyed.

I happened upon your blog while in wet canvas and love your rabbits. Glad to hear you've put them up in your home Pastels are a nive medium for furry creatures because they are so soft and non-linear, and you've certainly discovered that!
I have discovered that. I am at the point now where the lightest and darkest values are fun as I get it. I am a bit fuzzy in the middle. I am not very good at landscapes, and I enjoy more primitive art. I love animals and I love to draw as if it were to be in a childs room or book. Cats are another favorite..I have a black cat at home who may be next. Thanks for stopping by!
