Tobi
I worked a bit more on Tobi and Framed him. I decided I wanted a companion picture to hang in my hallway.

Tobi
I finally found some time! Karen my teacher who is an awesome artist let me dig into her photo box.
This is one of her adorable kitties! This is 15" by 12" bigger than I usually work. I think I'm getting better. I have over 50 paintings under my belt.

Cardinal
As I was not totally pleased with the Kirby's Mill painting, I whipped this out in 5 minutes. I really like it.
What do you think?

Kirby's Mill Medford NJ
This is a painting of Kirby's Mill, actually the actual Mill is across the street, but I like this part of the complex best. I think this is the barn.Anyway, they have an apple fesitval every October. It was a tradition to enter the bake-off with Lauren, my babysitter...the first year, I won nothing, and she got 2nd place. The next year we both took first in our divisions. We were very happy and excited.
I did this on 11 by 14 wallace paper. I don't think I am totally done. But here it is for now.
Thanks!

Challenge
This is the September pastel strokes challenge from Wet Canvas.
I like the tree on the left, but I had a lot of issue with the trees on the right. I decided to end it...maybe I'll go back later. Hey I tried!

Pooh!
This is a pancake I made and it surpringly looks like Winnie the Pooh...I thought I would share. My son Devin wolfed it down in seconds flat. Those are chocolate chips by the way.
Pumpkins....
Well I hope this works....I've been having some trouble figuring out all this technical stuff. I despise reading directions. I did this in class. I've been trying to work on my arial perspective...i have to repeat the basic rules to myself over and over. We learned about 2 different kinds of color wheels.
My teacher is so talented and I'm so glad I found her or I would probably have ended up at Michael's painting a country sunflower.
Every lesson she teaches adds something to what I know and I am trying to put it all together, but I know I will. I could watch her paint for hours.
My husband saw this and said nice peaches!
:o)
